PSC Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
Tuesday, August 21, Greenwood – Stableford
Tuesday we went to Greenwood where the A & C course was played. The track was as usual in an excellent condition and it’s always a pleasure to play here.
We had perfect weather conditions but this course is not easy and we had no standout results.
Neil Harvey played the most consistent and won with 37 stableford points. Second was Willem Lasonder with 34 points and in third was Martin Hayes with 33.
The near pins went to Phill Waite, Dave Smith and Neil Harvey.
Thursday, August 23, Burapha – Stableford
Burapha was our venue for Thursday and we played the A & C course which was in good condition but the rough was really tough.
We had for the first time in weeks a sunny day and that was a delightful experience. The breeze was strong and made it agreeable to play.
Normally Martin Hayes wins after his return to Pattaya in his first game, but this time he had to wait 3 rounds of golf. Today nobody could beat him and he won with 40 points. Second was Paddy Devereux with 36 points and Phill Waite was third with 34, beating Jonathan Pratt on count-back.
Daniel Oshiro and Paddy Devereux took the near pins today.
