Tuesday, May 9, Khao Kheow – Stableford
We visited Khao Keow on Tuesday and played the A & B course, which was in very good condition and the greens were quite fast. The weather was ok, cloudy and not too hot.
Only one good score was returned today, by Jonathan Pratt with a very strong back nine of 1 under and giving him 39 points overall. In second became Stan Rees with 34 points.
The near pins went to Paddy Devereux, Dave Smith, Stuart Banks and Willem Lasonder.
Thursday, May 11, Greenwood – Stableford
On Thursday we went to Greenwood and the course was as usual in really good shape. The greens were very fast and posed a problem for many of us. Nevertheless, we had good scores today.
Martin Hayes showed very good form again and won with 42 points, four ahead of David Smith in second spot.
Near pins were claimed by Martin Hayes, Ian Waddle and Dave Smith.
