Pattaya tourism got a fit new ambassador as the area business organizations came together to select “Mr. Pattaya” in the first Pattaya Healthy Guy Challenge.
Teerapong “James” Ninsup won the title in the Aug. 29 pageant at Central Festival Pattaya Beach, taking home a 200,000 baht prize package that included 50,000 baht cash.
The contest was launched to find a healthy man between age 18 and 30 to represent Pattaya as a tourist ambassador.

City Councilman opened the contest judged by a panel of seven that included sponsors and the president of the Thai Hotels Association Eastern Region.
Runners-up in the pageant were Benya Thongto, who won total prizes totaling 100,000 baht, and Tatthep “Mark” Jantarasena who won 50,000 baht in prizes.
Other 20,000-baht prizes included Mr. Popular, Pea Kritinai Kamlungngam; Reporter’s Choice and Mr. Congeniality Nickky Boontham. The 10,000-baht Mr. Total Look went to Tee-Yai Ittiphan Narkyod.
