The Khao Kheow A&B loops were the challenge today and after 43 minutes en-route we were off the A1 tee 30 minutes early under sunny skies and with another delightful breeze.
The course on the day was in a good playable condition but there was a lot of ground under repair on both nines which seems to be the norm rather than the exception. It really was millionaire’s golf again today with no one in front for the 18 holes for a round of 3 hours and 55 minutes.
Welcomes went out to Doug Maiko and Andre Vandyk and goodbyes to Ron Grafton and John Coombs – back to Perth W.A..
Doug Maiko was the winner with 35 points, Daryl Evans came second on 33, Dave Richardson took third with 32 points and Andre Vandyk filled fourth on count back from John Coombs, Dave Neal and Graham Buckingham, all with 31 points.
Thursday, Sept. 13, Treasure Hill – Stableford

2nd Stu Rifkin (15) 31pts
3rd Brian Noguer (22) 31pts
Treasure Hill was the game today and we were off the first tee 25 minutes early with partly cloudy and humid conditions, which prevailed for the whole round. The course on the day was in fine condition with some re-turfing going on around several greens.
With a seemingly empty course it was once more a quick round of just 3 hours and 35 minutes.
Kristin Helgason was the winner with 35 points while Stu Rifkin took second on a count back from Brian Noguer, both on 31 points.
