Phonsie McGahan topped the A Flight once again on Monday with a level par round at Navy. Dave Bramley did likewise in the B Flight with 33 points to finish 4 ahead of Ramsay Smith.
The two flight winners also recorded the only birdie ‘2’s of the day to share the pot.

Back to the society’s home course on Wednesday where the scoring was much higher than Monday. Rick Culley returned the best tally of 42 points to top the A Flight ahead of Jason Barnett and Tony Oakes, who both had respectable 40 point scores.
James Savage also returned with 40 points to win the B Flight while Les Charles edged Bernard Channing for second on count back.
Jason Barnett, Jack Butler and Eddie Blackwell shared the ‘2’s pot.

3rd Phonsie McGahan (7) 34pts
B Flight
1st Derek Wilkin (18) 37pts
2nd Derek May (16) 29pts
3rd Les Charles (21) 28pts
Two flights again on Friday with Arch Armstrong top scoring to take out the A Flight. Jason Barnett took second with an even par round while Phonsie McGahan edged Brian Orr for third place on count back.
Derek Wilkin returned 37 points to win B Flight, eight points clear of second placed Derek May, and Les Charles won the count back battle over Dave Foulk to fill the flight.
