Due to increase in numbers, we have started a Monday competition which this past week took place at Pattaya Country Club, with Phonsie MCGhan and Save Strang topping the listings on 37 and 33 points respectively. John Murdoch and Paul Walia in A flight, and Don Wilson and Bruce Tollitt in the second tier, took the minor places.

Wednesday, Jan 12, Greenwood – Stableford
Twenty five players tackled the A & B layouts at Greenwood off the white tees and John Hughes produced the first 40+ point round of the week, a whopping 47 points, to book himself a date with the Handicap Chairman.
Mark Williams was the other winner on the day with 39 points to take out the A Flight while Rick Culley scored the only ‘2’ of the day.

Friday, Jan. 14, Green Valley – Stableford
Our largest group of the week (32 players) took on the challenge of Green Valley on Friday off the white tees. Emmett White (A Flight) and Gordon Kerr (B Flight) were the stars of the show as they returned to the clubhouse with 42 points each to win their respective divisions. Bernard Channing also warrants a mention, recording a fine 41 points for second place in the B Flight.
Due to the large numbers today an extra 4-man team match competition was organised and the winners with 134 points were Gordon Kerr, Ted Gardner, Clive Bruce and Emmet White.
