Wednesday, Dec. 29,Green Valley – Pairs Scramble
To usher in the New Year a better ball pairs scramble was held at Green Valley on December 29 with a good turn-out so places down to fourth. Graham Beaumont and Jeff North took that position with a respectable 44 points while in third place, and also on 44 points, was the pairing of Bill Lutton and Kevin Lutton but they did enough to edge the count-back.
The runners up were Andy Spence and Al McRory with 45 points but three points clear of the field was the deserved winning combo of James Savage and John Murdoch who returned a fine 48 points.

Near Pins were shared by Arch Armstrong, Ted Gardner, Les Easton and Ramsay Smith, while the Long Drives went to Mark Williams and On Sodok.
