A very quiet week was forecast for Jomtien Golf after many people deserted town for Songkran.  There were still two divisions out on Monday with the cut at set 9-17 in the top flight.

William Chang, playing off 18, won division 2 with a fine 39 points while eight points behind in second was Bob Poole who beat Magne Gunnarson and Tom Novak on an 18/17/16 back-nine count back.

Dennis Scougall.

Terry Madsen was the winner in division 1 with 35 points, two ahead of Dennis Scougall in second while Don Head beat Chris Voller into third place on count back (17/16) after they both shot 32 points overall.

Near pins went to (Div 1) Terry Madsen and Jerry Sweetnam, (Div 2) William Chang, Mike Flashner, Bob Poole and James Tognela.

No ‘2’s today so rollovers to Wednesday.
