PSC Golf from Mulligans Lakeside
Tuesday, November 29, Eastern Star – Stableford
Tuesday was a last chance to use the PSC vouchers & get the good rate at Eastern Star before they predictably raise the price for “High Season”.
As the headline suggests, it was Joel Flor (21) who was able to best come to terms with the course & weather conditions of the day to shoot a handicap equalling 36 points. Next best, both with 31 points were Jeff Wylie (5) & Joop (32), with Jeff edging ahead on count back 13/10.
Near Pins were not the forte of the group with an even split between Jeff & Banglamung Boys Home.
Thursday, December 1, Pleasant Valley – Stableford
Thursday saw us take the drive up Hwy 7, before turning off to go to Pleasant Valley, where the course looked a picture, but with a bit of breeze blowing, it was going to prove a good test from the Blue tees, at just over 6,300 yards. No, that’s not the back tees, as they are Black, not even the A graders at PSC tournaments can cope with the back tees, apparently.

Showing the way again was Brian Maddox (20), who continued his fine form from last week, with 35 points. Next best with 31 points were Dave Edwards (18) & Jeff Wylie (5), this time Dave getting the nod over Jeff 16/13 on count back (swings & roundabouts!)
Near Pins were shared around between Willem, Dave & Allan, with BBH getting a donation also.
