Tuesday, April 19, The Emerald – Stableford
On Tuesday we went to the Emerald with just one group of people who wanted to escape the Songkran water festival. It was a few months ago we played here and we found a quiet course in a good condition. It was for us a strange experience that the price for walking was higher than the all in price with a cart. It was a nice warm day and we enjoyed the game.

Today Jonathan Pratt (H/cap 9) played consistently and won with 36 stableford points. Second was Willem Lasonder (17) with 34 points.
The near pins went to Willem Lasonder (twice), Jonathan Pratt and Allan Cassin (10).
Thursday, April 21, Eastern Star – Stableford
On Thursday we went to Eastern Star with 3 groups and it was again a nice hot day. The course was in pretty good condition except the greens which had been on maintenance and had not yet totally recovered.
Jonathan Pratt confirmed his good form and won with 38 points. He just beat our lady player Orn (H/cap 20) on the count back while in third was Owen Walkley (16) with 35 points.
The near pins were claimed by Jonathan Pratt, Owen Lloyd and Orn (twice).
Note: Siam Country Resort Pattaya, Restaurant & Bar is located just off Siam Country Club Rd, after going under the arch past the 7/11, turn right after 50 meters, with the venue on the left another 200 meters along. Golf from here is generally played on Tuesday & Thursday, with the Resort hosting prompt presentations on both days.
