Monday, Oct. 2, Burapha – Stableford
A group of 17 players took on Burapha on a hot and humid Monday. 5 places were paid in the one flight and 4th and 5th were separated on count as Dave Barker edged Jim Bracket, both scoring 36 points. A count-back was also need to decide 2nd and 3rd places, with Aaron New beating Dennis Pelly. Chris Kerr, on his final day before heading back to work, stole the show with a magnificent 39 points off a playing handicap of six.
There were two ‘2’s, coming from Jim Bracket and John Khan.
On Friday a hardy group of 6 braved the elements to play Khao Kheow, and taking into account the appalling weather the course was in remarkably good condition. John Hoddy came out on top with 37 points.
