The course at Khao Kheow was in fine condition today and it continues to improve every month.  It was rather busy so we had a slowish round of 4 hours and 40 minutes.  Back in the clubhouse welcomes went out to Jacky Wan from Hong Kong and Kenneth Madsen from Denmark and a goodbye to Hugh O’Donnell.

We had two flights today and Richard Kubicki ran away with the A Flight with an amazing 45 points.  Kristin Helgason came second with a fine 41 points and Mashi Kaneta was third on a count back from Elias Magnusson, both on 37’s.

Gordon Clegg topped the B Flight on a count back from Jack Robertson, both returning very fine 43-point scores, and Steen Habersaat took third with 40 ahead of 83-years young Hugh O’Donnell in fourth.

Pattavia was in good condition with slower greens this month and the clubhouse is on the verge of opening.  There was nobody in front of us all day and we got around in 4 hours and 10 minutes.

Two flights today with the cut at handicap 20 and Richard Kubicki kept up his winning streak with a count back win in the A Flight over Henning Olsen, both on 34 points.  Tate Akifumi came third with 31 points and John Ostrum was one further back in fourth.

Sirkka Pulkkonen had the best score of the day to take the B Flight with 36 points ahead of Jan Lovgreen in second, Kurt Sandgaard third and Gordon Clegg completed the podium in fourth on a count back over Peter Hammond.
