The North & West nines at the Navy course were the challenge today and we teed off under sunny skies with no groups in front. The course was in fine condition with fair greens.
We had two flights with the cut coming at handicap 19 and Ulf Larsson took the A flight with a fine 40 points. Richard Kubicki came second on a count-back from Ronnie Ratte in third, both with 34 points. One point further back, Rob Brown filled fourth place on a count-back from Peter Friis.
Gordon Clegg won the B flight with 37 points, six up on Tore Eliassen in second place. Peter Hammond took third with 29 points and Carole Kubicki completed the podium in fourth, winning a count-back over Karen Brown.
