Tuesday, Nov.1, Greenwood – Stableford
On Tuesday we went to Greenwood and played the A & B course, which looked good but was still soaked from all the rain the night before. Some of us had problems with the fact that the carts were not allowed on the fairways.
It was a neck and neck race to the top between Neil Harvey (H/cap 15) and Willem Lasonder (22). The decision fell on the last hole as both ended with 37 points but Neil beat Willem on the count back.
The near pins went to Paddy Devereux and Stuart Banks.
Thursday, Nov. 3, Khao Kheow – Stableford
We went to Khao Keow on Thursday and played the B & C course which was in very good condition.
Willem Lasonder confirmed his form this week and followed a poor front nine with 23 points on the back nine to win the day with 36 in total. Second today was Stuart Banks with 31 points.
Near pins were claimed by Sam Gettinby and Stuart Banks.
