PSC Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
Tuesday, July 19, Treasure Hill – Stableford
Because some of our regular players are still on holiday we had again not many players this week – and it was also a holiday week.
After our previous good experience and their very reasonable holiday rate we went again on Tuesday to Treasure Hill. The weather was set fair and the course was also in very good condition. Paddy Devereux (H/cap 22) built on his experience of the previous week and won today with 36 stableford points while Neil Harvey (16) came in second with 32.
Thursday, July 21, Pattavia – Stableford
On Thursday we went to Pattavia and when we set off it started raining and we were afraid that it would be a very damp day. However, when we reached the course it was dry and the course was in very good condition. We played the front nine and the score were very close together, but on the back nine Willem Lasonder (H/cap 21) took the lead and won with 40 points. Paddy Devereux followed Willem and placed second with 38.
Daniel Oshiro (20) played the par threes very well today, 3 times hitting to within 2 meters of the pin and converting two for birdies.
Note: Siam Country Resort Pattaya is located just off Siam Country Club Rd, after going under the arch past the 7/11, turn right after 50 meters, with the venue on the left another 200 meters along. Golf from here is generally played on Tuesday & Thursday, with the Resort hosting prompt presentations on both days.
