Tuesday, August 8, Pattaya C.C. – Stableford
Tuesday we went to Pattaya Country Club with 3 flights and it was the first time we played this course with our group. Everybody was enthousiastic about the course and the beautiful clubhouse.
We had some fine results and Willem Lasonder was in good shape and won with 40 stableford points. In second came Paddy Devereux with 38 points and Daniel Oshiro claimed third with 35.
The near pins went to Neil Harvey, Hidde Bijl (2) and Dave Smith.
Thursday, August 10, Crystal Bay – Stableford
Crystal Bay was the venue on Thursday and we played the B & C course. It was very quiet on the course but the playing conditions were very good.
Today it was Stan Rees who played the best round and won with 36 points. In second was Neil Harvey with 33, beating Hidde Bijl on count back.
The near pins were claimed by Hidde Bijl, Daniel Oshiro and Stan Rees.
