PSC Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
Tuesday, March 19, Treasure Hill – Stableford
On Tuesday we went with 3 groups to Treasure Hill where the course was in good condition but with now many dry spots outside the fairways. The weather was warm with a good breeze.
Willem Lasonder was in good form today and won with 39 points. He had an exciting battle with Ty Andersen who played a very good back nine apart from the final hole and finished second on 36 points. Taking third spot was Dave Smith with 32 on his card.
Near pins went to Paddy Devereux, Dave Smith, Jonathan Pratt and Stan Rees.
Thursday, March 21, Crystal Bay – Stableford
Crystal Bay was our venue on Thursday where we played the C & B course. It was again a warm sunny day with a strong breeze. There was a big difference between the greens of the B & C courses, the former being quite fast, but the C-course greens ran very slow.
We had moderate scores today and Jim Payne was the best with 34 points while in second place was Willem Lasonder.
Jonathan Pratt snared the only near pin award won on the day.
