Sunday, March 26, Silky Oak – Stableford

2nd Eddy Beilby (23) 34pts

3rd Mick Beresford (22) 30pts

 

Lewiinskis played the Silky Oak course on this day as Green Valley hosted a Thai sanctioned competition.  The course was in excellent condition and the weather was hot with a slight breeze.

The inform Peter ‘the right honorable’ LeNoury took the match honours with a splendid 39 points.  Perched on the second podium spot was Eddy ‘the Eagle’ Beilby with 34 points ahead of two players tied on 30 in the form of Mickey ‘nine holes’ Beresford and Big Jim Brackett.  Mickey’s back-nine secured the third spot on the podium leaving Big Jim at sea level and pot-less.

Wednesday, March 29, Khao Kheow – Stableford

1st Daryl Tomlinson (20) 40pts

2nd Bruce Anderson (7) 35pts

3rd Kevin McEntee (9) net 33pts

 

Playing a stableford round at Khao Kheow, where good scores are always hard to come by, it was Daryl Tomlinson who took the day’s honours with a fine 40 points.  Daryl won by five clear ahead of Bruce Anderson and again it was the County Offaly gang leader Kevin McEntee who slipped in to close the podium with 33 points

The course was in its usual tip-top condition, with the fairways a joy to play off.
