Lions Clubs square off on sports field

Lions Club members in the Pattaya and Banglamung area jointly celebrated Lions’ Day on Oct. 8 by combining sport games with their charity work.

The sport competitions saw four male teams compete at football while an equal number of ladies’ teams took part in a chairball tournament.  Lion Banjong Bantoonprayuk, former president of the Lions Clubs International Region 310C and Lion Worapoj Pongpali, President of District 9 attended the event.

Lions Club International is a non-profit organization whose main objectives are to help out needy and disadvantaged people from all walks of life.  It is highly involved in major disaster relief, social welfare and vocational assistance.
