It was a glorious sunny day for the game today at Mountain Shadow and a quick check-in saw us off the first tee 35 minutes. The course was in fine condition and drying out fast, even giving us some run and roll.
We had a fast round of 4 hours and back in the clubhouse a welcome went out to Ganbaatar, a Mongolian native and an airbus A300 captain for Kuwait Air.
Two flights today with the cut at handicap 17 and our only lady player, Guilan Liu, won the A flight with a great 39 points. Oddur Olafsson took second place with 37 points and Ganbaatar was third with 33.
Gordon Clegg topped the B Flight with a good 38 points to finish ahead of Jan Lovegreen in second and Elias Magnusson third.
