Monday, March 18, Bangpakong – Stableford

It was our favorite today – the Bangpakong Riverside course, just up route 7 for a little bit over 1 hour.  After a swift check-in we were off the first tee 15 minutes early under sunny and hot conditions but with a stiff breeze all day.  The course was, as always, in magnificent condition.

The first 2 groups today were 3-balls, getting around in 3 hours and 50 minutes.  Back in the clubhouse, welcomes went out to Mark Erikson from Dayton, Ohio and Torben Sorensen from Denmark, while we said our goodbyes to Henning Olsen and Kai Aabling, going back to Denmark.

Thursday, March 21, Plutaluang W&N – Stableford

Plutaluang West and North loops were the test today and after we checked in we found that sport days had started, so just 1000 baht apiece for green fees, caddy and a shared cart – great value!

We got off the first West tee 15 minutes early under sunny skies and very hot conditions.

The course was in fine condition with consistent greens throughout.

We had a very swift round of 3 hours and 50 minutes as the course was empty ahead for most of the day.  Only two flights with the cut at handicap 19 as our numbers are starting to wind down.

Arne Max Pedersen took the A Flight with a fine 42 points ahead of Takeshi Hakozaki in second with 39 while Torben Sorensen took third with 35 and Richard Kubicki fourth with 34.

Jan Lovgreen won the B Flight with a smashing 45 points to finish five clear of Henrik Aagaard in second on 40 points and Kurt Sandgaard and Eddie Glinsek completed the podium some way back.
