PATTAYA, Thailand – On December 31, 2024 the Mabprachan Golf Society concluded its 2024 competition calendar in style at the picturesque Greenwood Golf Course. Under clear blue skies and a refreshing breeze, conditions were ideal for the final round of the year. The course was in excellent shape, albeit challenging with long white tee placements and tricky greens.

The battle for second place was intense, with Maurice Paradis edging out Neale Savery and Bob Edwards on countback to secure the runner-up position with 34 points.

New member Robert Pentland was warmly welcomed to the society, and Stephen Ford had a mixed day, claiming the “spoon” but also hitting the only near pin. Results: 1st: Neil Harvey (24) – 42 points. 2nd: Maurice Paradis (18) – 34 points

Mark Bromwich, near pin winner; Bob Edwards, runner-up with 35 points; and Allan Cassin, the day’s champion with 37 points, celebrate their achievements at Crystal Bay Golf Course as the Mabprachan Golf Society kicks off 2025 in style.
