Sunday, April 29, Green Valley – Stableford
This was the only fixture this week, with the mid-week IPGC medal taking precedence for most, but the 8 players who made the trip found the course in good condition, although the greens were a little on the slow side.
Joe McArdle’s rich vein of form continued as he took first spot with 38 points, 3 clear of the field. There was a 3-way count back for the minor places on 35 points, Jon Lay missing out after scoring only 16 on the back 9. Alec Hoare took second place after scoring 19 on the back, one ahead of Brian Talbot with 18.

There were no ‘2’s registered so the pot again carried forward to Green Valley the following Sunday.
