Tuesday, Feb. 19, Greenwood – Stableford
More on the headline later, but first to Tuesday’s event at Greenwood, with the C & A loop being our test for the day. Leading the way was Jim Federspiel (19) with a solid 37 points, ahead of Bob Edwards (8) who signed for 34 points. In third spot was Jeff Wylie (6) after a 3-way count back 17/14/13 with Martin & Trevor, after all recorded 33 points.
Near pins were hard to get today with Bob securing 2, while the other 2 resulted in donations to Banglamung Boys Home.
Thursday, Feb. 21, Crystal Bay – Stableford
Thursday saw us visit Crystal Bay, A & B being the combination allotted. The course was in good condition, other than a few leaky sprinklers making for some muddy spots on some fairways. The greens here are returning to somewhere near their old pace, with a nice covering of grass masking the speed.

Mike Jackson (15) showed a clean pair of heels to the field with a good 39 points, while Jeff Wylie (6) was next best with 35, which included a nice 4-putt double bogey. Third place was won by Phill Waite (11) returning to a bit of winning form with 34 points, despite 3 wipes.
Near pins were spread around today, with Clive, Graham B, George & Martin sharing the spoils.
