PSC Golf from Mulligans Lakeside
Tuesday, Oct. 26, Rayong C.C. – Stableford
Tuesday was a trip out along Hwy 36, turn left at the Ban Chang turnoff (not right) and head for Rayong C.C. The course was a little on the rough & ready side, due to the recent rains when they were unable to get the mowers out & about. Despite this hiccup the course was playable, as the scores indicated.

Mike Pledger (19) again hit the high notes to record a quality 37 points (he said it could have easy been 40). Jim Fortune (27) continued his recent good form to score 35 points, despite being washed out of the last hole, when a heavy storm swept in. Mam (31) edged Joom (30) on count-back to the last 3 holes, 6 to 4, after both girls had signed for 32 points.
Near pins were collected by K, Allan, Ken & Jeff.
Thursday, Oct. 28, Treasure Hill
Thursday saw us slide up 331 to Treasure Hill, the jewel on this road. The course is currently undergoing some renovations, which when finished will enhance this course’s reputation further amongst golfers.
Many do not like the course, but I think mainly due to their poor performance rather than poor course condition. On this day, other than playing from forward of the yellow tees on many occasions, the course was in good order, maybe a little bumpy following recent rains.
Jeff Wylie (7) kept the ball in play all day, to record a solid 37 points, followed home by the consistent Allan Cassin (12) with 35 points. Allan & Jeff each got a near pin, with Ken getting the 2nd hole, with a fine shot. The short 6th hole went unclaimed, resulting in a small donation to the Banglamung Boys Home.
Note: Mulligans Lakeside plays golf generally on Tuesday & Thursday (we sometimes change to accommodate a Thai Holiday). Presentations are made at the course on Tuesday, with Mulligans Lakeside hosting the Thursday presentation.
