One of our favorites, Bangpakong Riverside, was in the diary for today.  After an easy check-in we were off the first tee on time under sunny skies and with a nice breeze to keep us cool all day.  The course as always was in fine condition.

We had two flights today with the cut set at handicap 18 and a full line of near pins to shoot for.

Doug Maiko played out of his socks to win the A Flight with a whopping 45 points, three ahead of Peter Sindberg in second who must have surely thought he’d done enough to win.  Walter Baechli came in third with 39 points and Brian Gabe was fourth on count backs from Henning Olsen and Kenneth Madsen, all on 37s.

Henry Wong also had a banner day, winning the B Flight with a fine 44 points as Arne Max Pedersen came second with a fine 41 and Fred Tam took third with 37, one ahead of Graham Buckingham in fourth.
