The game today was at Mountain Shadow, and we started on the 10th tee on time, playing the course backwards under sunny and humid conditions for the whole day.  The course was in fine condition as the scores reflect.

After a round of 4 hours and 20 minutes a welcome went out to Ole Holst from Denmark and a goodbye to Richard Snellin, working for the UN in the Congo.

Two flights today with the cut at handicap 20 and some of the best scores ever seen at this course.  Ted Morris, the birthday boy and 74 years young today, won the a flight with 40 points ahead of Mashi Kaneta in second on 39 and Jean Morel and Don Richardson filled the minor places.

John Davis won the B Flight with 39 points, Graham Buckingham was second on 38, and Ole Holst took third on a count back over Elias Magnusson, both on 37 points.

Note:  Coming up on 24 December we have the Christmas Fayre/Alec Chilcott Cup at Bangpakong.  Please sign up early.  If you are looking for a game call Dave at 083 602 2117 or [email protected].
