It was Pleasant Valley today after a very wet weekend in Pattaya, the trip there taking 43 minutes and after checking in the starter put us off the 10th tee as the first hole had about 2 groups waiting and this saved us 25 minutes of hanging around for our tee time.
The weather was overcast and humid and the course was wet but very playable as the scores reflect.
Dave Neal was the winner on a count back from Dave Richardson in second, both with 40 points, while Mike Winfield took third on a count back from Daryl Evans, both on 38 points and the lady Tientong Charoenrung came in fifth with 37.
Once back in the clubhouse, after a quick round of 4 hours, welcomes went out to Eddie Kost from Australia, Oddur Olafsson from Iceland and Marco Beer from Switzerland.

The Royal Thai Navy’s Plutaluang west and north loops were the challenge today and we teed off 35 minutes early on West 1 under partly sunny skies and in humid conditions.
The course on the day was very tidy despite the wet conditions of the past week.
Mike Winfield was the winner today with 38 points ahead of Doug Maiko in second on 37 , Kristin Helgason third with 33, and Oddur Olafsson fourth on a count back over Dave Richardson, both on 30 points.
After a round of 4 hours and 35 minutes, escaping the rain once again, we welcomed back Walter Baechli from a bicycle trip of the UK and Ireland.
