PSC Golf from Siam Country Resort
Tuesday, April 7, Greenwood – Stableford
On Tuesday we drove down the 331 to Greenwood. The conditions were perfect and, as always, the course was well maintained. The weather was quite warm and we were almost alone on the course.
It was good to see Paddy Devereux back after 2 months, although it was for one game this week. Tom Murray (h/cap 31) and Paul Davies (31) confirmed their good form of the last few weeks. Both had excellent scores of 41 stableford points but Tom bested Paul on the count back.
The near pins went to Tom Murray and Paddy Devereux.
Thursday, April 9, Eastern Star – Stableford
On Thursday we went for the first time this year to Eastern Star. We were warned about the condition of the course due to maintenance issues but we found the overall layout conditions to be good, although the greens were still a bit slow. We had some excellent weather with a nice breeze.

Today again saw an exciting battle between Mam Pornpimoon (24) and Willem Lasonder (20), with William’s 33 points just getting the better of Mam’s 32 for the top spot on the podium.
Near pins were collected by the top two, Mam and Willem.
Note: Siam Country Resort, Restaurant & Bar is located just off Siam Country Club Rd, after going under the arch past the 7/11, turn right after 50 meters, with the venue on the left another 200 meters along. Golf from here is generally played on Tuesday & Thursday, with the Resort hosting prompt presentations on both days.
