PSC golf from Siam Country Resort
Just the 1 game this week as time was spent checking out venues for a trip away for the SCR group.
Thursday rolled around, and normal service was resumed, with a trip to Pleasant Valley under clear skies and a light breeze. The course was in generally good condition, although there were some damp areas following overnight rain combined with some leaky sprinkler heads. These did not deter Neil Harvey (18) who has been in the golfing doldrums recently, from putting some good shots together to eventually sign for 37 points. This was made all the more creditable as he got away to a below average start with 2 wipes.

The consistent Jeff Wylie (7) was a point behind Neil, while Bob Edwards (8) with 33 picked up the final podium spot.
Near pins were again spread around, boosting the prize winners up to 7 different recipients, as Jonathan, Willem, George & Martin hit the targets.
Friday was a PSC monthly tournament and all 4 of our participants got amongst the prizes: Bob got the A Flight Long Drive and a near pin and Jeff came third in A Flight while Willem & Paddy, who both just missed the podium places in their flights, got lucky draw prizes.
Note: Siam Country Resort, Restaurant & Bar is located just off Siam Country Club Rd, after going under the arch past the 7/11, turn right after 50 metres, with the venue on the left another 200 metres along. Golf from here is generally played on Tuesday & Thursday, with the Resort hosting prompt presentations on both days.
