The Backyard Golf Society
For the second week in a row there was a good turnout for the Backyard Golf Society at Emerald Golf Course. Nine players of which eight were in all competitions made for a very pleasant round of golf on our Friday day out, November 18.
We welcomed back Micky but unfortunately it was the last round of the year for Bob G and Andy Oz who are both going to be missed but for very different reasons!
Friday’s winner Neville outside Kisses Bar.
Neville beat out Andy Oz by 1 point for the game and he also took the nearest the pin and (9) skins so a very successful day for the Aussie contingent who then proceeded to get hammered down the road. Other skin winners were as follows: Bob G (5), JJ (3), Andy Oz (1).
We can now look forward to a quiet few weeks as Oz has promised he will stay away for two months.
