Nongprue teachers were invited to run up to ten kilometers to raise money for classroom supplies at the subdistrict’s OTP Run 2019.
Mayor Mai Chaiyanit opened the Dec. 22 event at King Bhumibol the Great Public Park with teachers, students, municipal workers, and members of the local Lions Club and Women’s Development Group.
Participants could choose to do a 5K or 10K run around the park, with proceeds from 500-baht entry tickets going toward Nongprue’s Education and Learning Media Fund.
