Wednesday, March 9, Treasure Hill – Stableford
A round 2 dozen players tacked Treasure Hill off the white tees on Wednesday. Heavy rained interrupted the round but it didn’t seem to affect scratch player John O’ Flynn much as playing off the black tees (the full length of 7,240 yards) on his own, he recorded a superb 3 over gross round to take out the A Flight – a great effort on a damp course.

Friday, March 11, St. Andrews – 4-Man Scramble
A large compliment of 32 players formed 8 teams in a scramble event at St. Andrews on Friday. We enjoyed perfect conditions on a perfect course.
The foursome of Graham Beaumont, Jeff North, Vincent Smyth and Mark Williams proved to be the strongest of the field as they returned a fine net 57.1 to win the event. The two teams following them had to be separated by count-back after they both finished on net 60.2.
