Tuesday, Nov. 14, Mt. Shadow – Stableford
On Tuesday we went to Mountain Shadow and as it had been some months since we last played here so we were curious about the condition of the course. We found it in good condition and although the greens have been better they were still not too bad.
Although the conditions were good, we had no big scores today. Daniel Oshiro played consistent and won with 36 points while in second was Al Keith with 32 points, beating Martin Hayes on the count-back.
The near pins went to Al Keith, Neil Harvey and Willem Lasonder.
Thursday, Nov. 16, Greenwood – Stableford
We went to Greenwood on Thursday and played the A & C course which was in perfect condition with very good greens.
It was an exciting day and with three players being close to each other the decision fell on the last hole. Stan Rees was the best and won with 38 points, beating Neil Harvey on a count-back. Paddy Devereux came in third with 37 points.
The near pins were claimed by Alex Everden, Phill Waite and Sam Gettinby.
