Like the recent FIFA World Cup, the tournament began with a group round in which four teams played each other once, with the top two teams advancing to the knockout round, in which tied games were decided by penalty kicks.

The competition was divided into two divisions: boys aged 14 and under, and boys aged 15-16.

Pattaya Arunothai took first place in the older-boys group, with Wat Suthawas placing second and Pattaya School No. 7 taking third.

In the younger-boys category, Pattaya School No. 8 won first prize, School No. 5 came second and Pattaya Arunothai third.

Deputy Mayor Wattana Chantanawaranon and city council members presented all the winning sides with cups and awards July 31.
