Praiwan Aromchuen, a Pattaya City Council member and President of the Chonburi-Pattaya Sepak Takraw Team recently signed an MOU with Li Yong Ik, coach of the Division of Sports & Medicine at Daegu Haany University in South Korea.
The agreement, signed at Pattaya City Hall on July 30, will see both organizations create a bilateral relationship and make regular exchanges with the aim of enhancing sports performance. Trainers from the Korean university will endeavor to improve the team’s overall fitness and conditioning and also provide emergency assistance for injuries sustained during matches.

Chonburi-Pattaya Sepak Takraw Club has meanwhile agreed to take on takraw players from South Korea who will train under the supervision of coach Plusak Permsap for a period of 1 month.
The Chonburi Pattaya based team is currently ranked number 3 in the Sepak Takraw Thailand League 2015 and is aiming to lift the title this year. The team’s next match will take place on August 29, between Chonburi-Pattaya and Srisaket at Pattaya School 7.
