The 12th Top of the Gulf Regatta organizing committee held the official opening of the annual sailing event at Ocean Marina Yacht Club in Pattaya on Saturday, April 30. Associate Professor Chavanee Tongroach, Vice Minister for Tourism and Sports together with Chaicharn Eiamcharoen, Deputy Governor of Chonburi Province, presided over the opening.
The Top of the Gulf Regatta, held from 30th April – 4th May at Ocean Marina, welcomed more than 200 boats and over 700 sailors from more 30 countries around the world.

In addition to being a unique sporting event, the Top of the Gulf Regatta is also a popular lifestyle event that generates an annual income for local businesses of over than 20 million baht, and showcases Pattaya’s position as a popular water-sports hub in the region.
