The Pattaya International Ladies Club (PILC) held its first special event for the year, the PILC Family Fun Bowling Night on the evening of Saturday, March 29.

As the name suggests, this year it had a family focus with many keen bowlers battling it out to try and win prizes whilst enjoying a scrumptious buffet dinner with their family and friends.

The bowling event was held at P.S. Bowl and was attended by over 70 people.  This included PILC members, special guests the tourist police, and friends and family of members, with the youngest bowler being just 4 years of age!

The feedback from the night was that it was ‘great fun’ and was extremely popular with both the children and adults alike.  Several members commented on how nice it was to see children at the event this year.

To keep things interesting and entertaining there were competitions and prizes for the top scoring adult bowler (congratulations Edson), top scoring child bowler (congratulations Zachary), and best overall team score which was won by a formidable team called the Loch Ness Monsters, comprising of Dianne, Matt, Allison and Bill.

Prizes were also awarded for the best child and adult team names.  Overall the night was a great success and was enjoyed by all.

A big thank you goes to the Special Events Team of Raegan and Nancy, and to Joyce and Sue for their help and contribution in organizing such a fun-filled evening.
