Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
Tuesday, Dec. 12, Silky Oak – Stableford
On Tuesday we went to Silky Oak and found a course in good condition, only the greens were a little bit slow. It was a nice sunny day with a cooling breeze.
The scores were not extreme and and we had a good battle until the finish. Jonathan Pratt kept his nerves under control and won with 38 stableford points while Willem Lasonder came second with 34 and Brian Maddox was third with 31.
The near pins went to Tim Holland (3), Joop Bijsterbosch and Stan Rees.
Thursday, Dec. 14, Mt. Shadow – Stableford
We went to Mountain Shadow on Thursday and played a course in very good condition with fast greens. Again we had reasonable scores and a battle between Jonathan and Willem, with Jonathan once more coming out on top with 37 points to Willem’s 34. Three points further back was Neil Harvey in third.
Near pins were claimed by Neil Harvey, Joop Bijsterbosch and Jonathan Pratt (2).
