Geoffrey Rowe, Tournament Director of the PTT Pattaya Open and Managing Director of Pentangle Promotions Co., Ltd recently went on a site inspection visit to the Dusit Thani Hotel in  Pattaya.  The purpose of the trip was to check on the condition of the tennis courts, prior to the staging of the 2012 PTT Pattaya Open at the venue from 5–12 February 2012.

Preparatory work on improvements to the tennis courts will start from the beginning of December and be completed by mid-January 2012, which will allow players arriving early from the Australian Open to practice on the newly prepared tennis courts.  The Dusit Thani Hotel has 4 tennis courts, 3 of which are used for matches and 1 court is set aside solely for practice.  An additional 2 practice courts are located nearby at the Montien Hotel.
