On Thursday 5th December Regents International School Pattaya celebrated His Majesty the King’s Birthday with a community golf tournament.
Parents, students and teachers made up the field of 52 golfers who enjoyed a glorious day at Pattaya Country Club, competing for prizes and also pride, as many Regents students had better handicaps than their teachers!
Event organiser and PE Teacher Andrew Martindale commented: “The Kings’ Golf Day is a fantastic opportunity for the school’s community to come together. The Regents Physical Education Department would like to thank all who played on the day, especially the large number of parents who participated, and also the staff and caddies at Pattaya Country Club for making all the golfers feel so welcome, attending to their every need, and making the King’s Birthday such a special day for all involved.”
Students, parents and teachers all joined together for a great golfing day at Pattaya Country Club.
Head of Secondary, Garry Russell commented: “At Regents we regularly hold events as we encourage parents and friends to join in and feel the same sense of community their child feels every day when they come to our school. We really do value community involvement, such as through our recent Pattaya to Philippines fund-raiser, the Christmas Fair and our monthly ‘Parents and Friends’ meetings. Regents is a family school in every sense.”
