Although he only came second today we welcomed the return of our dear old friend Hugh Byrne, back after a long 6 month absence. Hugh has returned to Thailand without his better half, Paula, who unfortunately is awaiting a small operation back in the UK. We all wish her well and a speedy recovery. Meanwhile the rest of the boys will make sure Hugh behaves himself whilst here alone.
To spoil Hugh’s day, Gerry Hughes was our winner with a fine 36 points, with Hugh scoring 35. Third place went to Peter (Bomber) Harris with 33 points, just edging out Tim Mason into fourth place on count back of the last nine holes.

Near pins went to John Bartley, Joris Goetschalkx and Tim Mason, and the lucky draw prizes (donated by our hosts The Relax Bar) went to Patrick Browne, Stuart Gordon, Bill Hewitt and Eamon Murtagh.
On Friday, Oct. 12, we had a nice even group out and the winner was Bill Hewitt with 35 points. In second place was Mukesh Thakker with 33 points, edging yours truly into third place again with a better back nine.
Near pins went to Gerry Hughes, Mukesh Thakker and Bill Hewitt, with Granville Swanton and Peter Harris winning the lucky draw prizes, again donated by The Relax Bar.
