Monday, Dec. 17, Treasure Hill – Stableford
Treasure Hill Golf and Country Club was the game today and we got off the first tee on time under very hot conditions. The course was in very fine shape with all the newly sodded areas around the greens maturing fast.
Back in the clubhouse after a round of 4 hours and 30 minutes, welcomes went out to Eddie Glinsek, Rob and Karen Brown, Jukke Pulkknen, Hele Rantels, and Jesper Rasmussen.
Two flights today with the cut at handicap 20. Richard Kubicki won the A Flight with 32 points ahead of Michele Sancillo in second two points behind while Daryl Evans took third on a count back over Walter Baechli, both on 29 points.
Dave Richardson won the B Flight on a count back from Mike Winfield, both with 32 points, while Mick O’Connor won another count back for third over Brian Gabe.

Thursday, Dec. 20, Pleasant Valley – Stableford
Pleasant Valley today and arriving there we discovered that a Thai tournament was going off both tees at 11 a.m. so we had a two-tee start ourselves at 10 a.m. The weather was fine with sunny skies and a good breeze. There was just a minor stoppage at the turn but thanks to the management we had priority and it didn’t hold us up too much. The course was in fine condition.
Back in the clubhouse after a trek of 4 hours and 30 minutes, welcome went out to Uni from Iceland and Alan from the UK and a goodbye to Michele Sancillo back to Spain for 3 weeks.

Don Richardson won the A Flight with a very good 45 points ahead of Ted Morris in second on 40, Rob Brown third with 38 and Michele Sancillo fourth on 37.
Mike Winfield topped the B Flight with another big score of 41 points, Jan Lovgreen was second on 38, while Elias Magnusson took third on a count back from Carole Kubicki, both on 37 points.
