Thirteen year-old Pattaya schoolgirl Thitirat Kanaphuet has been playing tennis for three years now and is continuing to make a name for herself in the Thai national rankings LTAT. Now ranked at 20 in the under 14’s and 43 in the under 16’s, her status will soon be elevated further following her recent win in Bangkok in an under 14’s tournament and a runner-up award in the under 16’s category.
Thitirat receives help from her support team of Tee and Gran who are both leading Chonburi tennis coaches. She also keeps fit and stays in shape with her personal fitness trainer Ruby. Thitirat still trains hard three times every day, tennis before school and fitness after school at the Universe Gym with Ruby and then more tennis in the evening.

She has just changed school to the Regents School who have indicated they will also give their full support to Thitirat with their tennis court and modern sports facilities. All this support helps the young schoolgirl in the pursuit of her dream to become a professional tennis player, and to maybe one day win the Pattaya Open and Wimbledon.
Thitirat’s tennis idol is still Roger Federer and other favorite players include Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray. She also likes a lot of the women tennis players, mostly Li Na and Serena Williams.
The young tennis champ will continue to travel all over Thailand to various competitions and will also now start competing internationally as she has reached the age of 13 and is therefore eligible as an ITF junior member. She has also been chosen to be in the Chonburi team for the Seagate games which are taking place this month.
Thitirat has also now got the benefit of a sponsor who is helping her fulfill her dream and she would like to thank him for all his help and support.
