PSC Golf from The Caddy Shack
Tuesday, March 31, was a comp free day as some travelled to the Phoenix open day. We fielded one team but despite playing reasonably well our combined score of 77 was well down below the day’s average. It was still a good day and enjoyed by all participants, so thanks to Phoenix management on the invitation.
Thursday, April 2, was back to our normal golf schedule, with Khao Kheow C & A from the yellow tees our chosen venue. At just a smidge over 6300 yards from the yellows, and with the course in good condition, better scores may have been expected. The heat must have taken it out of the players, and with just a light breeze, the humidity was well up also.
Allan Cassin back for some holiday golf.
James Savage (h/cap 24) just got the better of Jason Barnett (4) on the back nine, 18/17, after both signed for a solid 34 points. Although no spectacular scores were recorded three quarters of the field did break the 30 barrier, so plenty of potential there.
Near pins were spread around between Clive, Allan L, Allan C & Jason, all being rewarded for their tee shots.
Note: The CaddyShack Restaurant & Bar is located off Soi 17 3rd Rd, or Soi 8 off Thepprasit Rd, South Pattaya. Golf from here will be generally played on Tuesday & Thursday with all competition fees returned in prizes, and the support of the owner offering additional incentives for golfers. As a PSC affiliated venue we welcome ALL golfers, including ladies & seniors (>60s) who have opted for the “Silver” tee option. Call 089 094 1841 for scheduling or enquiries. Hope to see you there, cheers & good golfing!
