No high scores at the always tough Treasure Hill on Monday where Gordon Melia needed the aid of a count back to edge P.J. Redmond for the win, both recording 33 points in total. Frank Quinlan completed the podium in third place with 32.

Wednesday, Oct. 28, Wangjuntr Jungle Course – Stableford

1st Keith Norman (13) 34pts

2nd Jimmy Carr (17) 31pts

3rd Frank Quinlan (30) 30pts

Keith Norman bested the field by three points at the scenic Wangjuntr Jungle course on Wednesday but once again no one was able to play to their handicap.  Jimmy Carr occupied the second step on the podium one point ahead of Frank Quinlan who once again placed third.

Friday’s round at Emerald was played in the medal format and Tony Scambler posted a fine round of 69 net off his 13 handicap to take the win on the day. Peter Habgood returned an even par score of 72 to take second while the ubiquitous Frank Quinlan was in his usual third slot, one ahead of P.J. Redmond.
