For this opening day there would be no horsing around on this playground at the Thai Polo Club. Team PSC were playing The Teachers from St. Andrews International School for local softball bragging rights.
The Teachers did their homework and prepared well for game 1. They put down their pencils and picked up their bats and schooled Team PSC, scoring 5 runs in the first and never looked back, putting a win on the board to take a deserved lead.

Fortunately for Team PSC the lunch bell rang and they were able to lick their wounds and their chops over burgers and beers, hit the books, then the ball and proving to be too much of a test for The Teachers in game 2. While The Teachers got an “A” for effort it was Team PSC that chalked up the “W”.
So in the end this day will go down in the history books as a win-win for both teams and the lesson learned: “it’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how much fun you had playing the game.”
Thanks to all our fans and to our host the Thai Polo Club for the beautiful field, tasty food and beverages. For more information about PSC Softball visit the Pattaya Sports Club website: www.pattayasports.org.
