Pattaya’s young motor racing protégé Kane Shepherd had a double win in Dubai last weekend in the final 2 races of the Formula Gulf racing series. This sealed an overall championship victory for the series, with 5 wins in the 10 race series and a podium finish in every race. Despite the onset of the Middle Eastern summer, Kane kept his cool to win the races by 9 and 11 seconds consecutively. Kane will now spend time on the simulator and with potential sponsors to move into more high profile series in the coming year.
