The 2nd annual Ko Chang Race/Cruise will take place starting on Saturday April 9 and is open to all yachts; racing and cruising, multihulls and monohulls. Motor boats and launches are also welcome to join in.
Gulf Charters have offered to sponsor the event and they will provide support at each end of the course for all participants. The plan is to complete the race before 1600hr on Sunday, April 10 (the sailing instructions will provide details of alternative plans in case of light winds, to ensure this happens).
On Sunday afternoon and evening there will be a BBQ on the Gulf Charters dock, with food and drinks provided by Phil Harper and his crew. The cruise will start on Monday for anyone interested and will be a low key affair with minimal organisation. There will be a couple of party evenings at local resorts on Ko Kut or Ko Mak.
