PSC Golf from Tropical Bert’s

Tuesday, September 9, Mountain Shadow – Stableford

This morning at Bert’s we were in ‘find me if you can mode’ as our normal group all went on holiday somewhere else in Thailand. Normally I get annoyed that for weeks we have many and then suddenly have few. However, never mind the width and feel the quality, so it was with a smile we lifted off for Mountain Shadow.

With just a couple of groups it is so easy to get away, and I did not even have to have a start list, just you and you and you first and then rest last. Not even a need to get the near pin markers out, and as my group all were in carts it made for a really pleasant round on a course that was in fine condition.

Winners Brian Parish and Ted Morris.Winners Brian Parish and Ted Morris.

Round over it was a pleasure to get into the showers. This for many years has been one of the golfers’ main crib about this course, so it was a pleasure to see that at last this area is nearly finished. Mind the towels are old friends but one cannot have everything.

So, on the day the winner was Brian Parish with 35 points, with Ted Morris second with 34 points. All in all a fine day with the pressure off the organiser, but they will all be back next week, Such is life.
